(2) Bespoke making will now be our focus for individual customers & some stores

(3) Current stock is the last of the current era

(4) The Capandula & Weathermen Jackets are the last of the pre-order system

(5) Followers that still want to buy 6876 can be part of the new CADRE system of direct communication and commerce.

Dérive : Capandula

According to the social critic Guy Debord , the most rewarding walks start without a preconceived route or destination. Instead, you should simply drift through the urban landscape by submitting to “the path of least resistance that is automatically followed in aimless strolls.”

The point is to keep your eyes open and note the way the different neighbourhoods or quartiers produce varied and specific psychological effects in you, the walker, as you execute your derive or drift. Only in this way, will you truly get to know the city; only in this way, will you succeed in penetrating at least part of its mystery.

Archive Community project

After 30 years we have decided to document the story of our unique brand. With your help, we will produce three newspapers, each documenting a particular decade in the history of 6876.

The publication will take the form of documenting the garments through high level product photography which will be an exhaustive and intensive process.

Also featured will be some archive artworks and brochures as well as unique interviews or written features with the people closest to the company.

We have chosen this format as we think this suits the aesthetic of the brand and is less reverential or self important than a glossy book

The print runs will be approximately 6 months apart & will be limited to 6876 followers.

Radge Scarf

One Francis Begbie is a major culprit, obviously. He is the archetypal radge: wild, unpredictable, and violent. A man you do not want to spill a pint on.

As well as being radge, you can also go radge: a prolific, sustained bout of swearing or a violent outburst

It’s also used as a casual term of endearment, predominantly in the east coast (“come here, ya wee radge.”). A seemingly improbable event can also be described as being “radge”.
